My name is Shakeeb Ahmed, and I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. My journey into construction began in 2021, after leaving behind a career in banking that never felt like the right fit.

After some honest self-reflection, I decided to pursue something I had always been drawn to — construction, renovations, and hands-on work. I’ve always enjoyed building, creating, solving problems, and seeing an idea come to life. What started as a change in direction quickly became a passion and, ultimately, the foundation of SKB.

With five years of experience in the industry, I’ve learned that a great renovation is about more than the finished product. It’s about the experience along the way — clear communication, attention to detail, reliability, and making sure you feel confident throughout the entire process.

Renovations can be exciting, but they can also be overwhelming. At SKB, our goal is to make the process feel seamless and stress-free while delivering quality workmanship and results you’ll be proud of.

When you choose SKB, you’re trusting us with your home, your investment, and your vision. We take that responsibility seriously.

I’m asking you to trust SKB with your next project — and our goal is to make the experience one that has you looking forward to the next one.
